Happy Turkey day to all!!!

Spent another Thanksgiving away from home this year... so that means no home made turkey for me =(.   It has been, however, a blessing nonetheless - praise the Lord!

It all started with a great potluck in the city on Wednesday night with this new GRX small group I've been checking out - CHEESE (no it's not an acronym... it's actually just cheese... I think).  The food was great and so were the ppl.  Dave (this dude in CHEESE) and I sat right next to the crab legs and prolly tore up about two thirds of it... I think i can still smell the crabs on my hands.  That was SATISFYING!!!

On Thanksgiving day, I hung out with the ppl I work with at the lab... did a lil holiday BBQ.  It was cold and dark... but the food was great.

Then on (black) Friday, I lined up outside of circuit city at 3am to get this GPS unit (eventhough I am known to have an impeccable sense of directions, I figured it's kinda cool to own a GPS unit).  I couldnt believe how many ppl were already lined up at 3am!  ppl were actually in tents!... and of course, just like any huge sale, the line was filled with Asians...  After 2 hrs of waiting outside and 45 more min of waiting inside, I finally was able to pay for the GPS unit which they could not find... I was told to go back later to pick it up... still waiting.....................

After a 7 hr nap (after I got home at 7am)... and a couple more hrs of nap... I went out to have the first meal of my day with Randy and Chris (college buddies whom I have not hung out with in a while... CONGRATULATIONS to Chris who recently got married!).  It was great hanging out with them... I really missed those crazy times we used to have together.

There just seem to be too many serious news these days - wars, natural disasters, etc.  Well, here is something that might make some ppl laugh =)...... (my deepest apologies, however, for those that find this disturbing.... MA BAD, I thought it was actually kinda hilarious... but yes, poor woman)

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

After turning 25 last week, I decided to buy myself an XBOX 360 (a lil belated bday present for myself I guess).  I'm not much of a gamer, but this thing just looks sooooooo cool! (I know I know... grow up, ZHENG! right???)  Oh well, at least I will enjoy the sports games - BTW, Tyson Chandler is sick in NBA2k6!
